Private Lessons & Senior Driving Assessment

At Georgetown Driving School, we offer personalized private driving lessons tailored to meet the unique needs of teenagers, adults, and international adults/students preparing to drive in Michigan and anywhere in the USA. Whether you’re a first-time driver or looking to build confidence behind the wheel, our experienced instructors are here to help you succeed.

Our private lessons are designed to fully prepare you for the Michigan Road Test. Sessions include essential driving skills such as:

Basic Maneuvers: Forward stop line, Y-turn (reverse backing to the left), and parallel parking. With our unique step-by-step process you will parallel park with ease and confidence!
On-the-Road Practice: Real-world driving in rural, city, and expressway environments, including merges, lane changes, navigating intersections, and more. This comprehensive behind-the-wheel driving experience will prepare you for all driving tasks required on the Michigan Road Test.

With a focus on safety, skill-building, and confidence, our students consistently achieve an impressive first-time pass rate on the Michigan Road Test—nearly 100%! Let us help you become a safe, confident, and licensed Michigan driver.

Our Senior Driving Assessment is a one-on-one evaluation designed specifically for aging adults who want to stay safe and confident behind the wheel. This non-judgemental, supportive session reviews current driving skills, identifies any areas for improvement, and provides practical feedback to help maintain independence for as long as safely possible. Whether you’re a senior driver looking for reassurance, or a family member concerned about a loved one’s ability to drive, this assessment offers peace of mind and clear guidance. On request, we will also write a letter of recommendation to a physician or therapist.

Private lessons: $75/hr

Senior Driving Assessment: $250 (1.5-2 hrs.)
