Segment 2

Segment 2 is the last step before the Road Skills Test. Segment 2 consists of class discussions about your son or daughter’s experiences on the road thus far. We will talk about the positives and negatives of moving to a Level 2 license while looking at statistics of teen drivers in Michigan. We will also discuss the Road Test and review the basic maneuvers, as well as discuss when and where to take the Road Test. Remember, Segment 2 is a state requirement before your child can take their road test.

Requirements

• 30 hours minimum of supervised driving time including a minimum of two hours night driving
• 90 days since completing Segment 1
• Segment 2 Application
